You’ll find nearly every brand under one roof, and your culinary needs are taken care of by numerous restaurants and fast-food outlets. After a successful shopping trip, we recommend wrapping up the day right at the SCS—whether at the movie theater or one of the on-site eateries.

… at the Designer Outlet Parndorf

A bit further away (45 kilometers from Pension Kasper), but easily accessible by car, is the McArthur/Glen Designer Outlet Parndorf. Designer brands are offered there at a discount of at least 30% year-round in an attractive setting. 170 designer stores are sure to make every shopper’s heart beat faster. We recommend combining a day of shopping in Parndorf with a visit to Lake Neusiedl, as it is not far away.

… in Vienna’s shopping streets

Of course, you can also indulge in some shopping fun right in Vienna’s city center on numerous shopping streets, such as Mariahilfer Straße or Kärntnerstraße. In just 30 minutes, you can take public transportation from the guesthouse straight to the heart of the action and start shopping. If the weather isn’t cooperating, you can head from Vienna’s “premier shopping street,” Mariahilfer Straße, to the adjacent Bahnhof City Wien West. This new shopping center at Vienna’s Westbahnhof offers a wide variety of shopping options with 90 stores spread across 3 levels. Mariahilfer Straße certainly has the advantage over Kärntnerstraße in that it’s a bit easier on the wallet. On the other hand, the atmosphere of Kärntnerstraße in the heart of the historic district is overwhelming, and with a little luck, you can find a bargain here too. Luxury stores can be found in Vienna’s Old Town, for example on Kohlmarkt or in the Ringstrasse Galleries.
